Self Managed NDIS clients
You, the parent/carer, manages your child’s invoicing.
Plan Managed NDIS clients
Your nominated plan manager manages your child’s invoicing.
NDIA/Agency managed clients
Mat & Chat is not able to support agency managed clients.
Medicare
Chronic Disease Management Clients
A GP Management Plan under The Chronic Disease Management (CDM) initiative allows eligible clients up to 5 rebated sessions.
These sessions are partially covered by Medicare.
Visit your GP to request a referral.
Private Health Fund Rebates
Private health fund rebates may apply. It depends on the type and level of your private health cover. Please check your eligibility and rebate amounts with your health fund directly.

The parent/carer is responsible for payment of the invoices.
Cancellation
Policy
Mat & Chat has an Adequate Notice Cancellation period up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time.
If requiring a cancellation, the client/client representative may request a cancellation in writing (text or email) prior to 48 hours from the scheduled appointment.
If a request for cancellation is received within the 48 hour window of the scheduled appointment time, this will be received as a Short Notice Cancellation and will incur the full fee of the scheduled appointment.
